Honouring Amanda: The Journey of Cupple Continues
Dear Cupple Community,
We have some bittersweet news to share.
Cupple was created by myself and my cousin Amanda, driven by our shared passion to reduce waste through a simple yet impactful concept: a combined reusable water bottle and insulated cup, offering a convenient, stylish alternative to single-use products. We called it Cupple: a ‘cup and bottle’ seamlessly coupled together.
Just as we were gaining traction and building a community of engaged customers, retailers, and corporate partners, we suffered a tremendous loss. At the end of 2023, Amanda passed away. It was a devastating blow for us as a family, and as business partners, it left me grappling with how to continue. After much consideration, I decided to reach out to people Amanda and I had connected with throughout our journey, seeking the right partners to carry Cupple forward.
I’m pleased to introduce Nick and Michael as the new owners of Cupple. We’ve known each other for years and have shared experiences in creating innovative drinkware products. Over the past few months, they’ve been integrating Cupple into their existing business, including moving production to a trusted manufacturing partner. This transition has caused a temporary pause in stock, but we’re excited to announce that fresh inventory will be available in time for Christmas.
